Relapse is the newest album by the lolicore legend, Loliqueen~! I'm extremely excited about this release as Abra (Loliqueen) is one of my all-time favorite artists, and is one of my earliest music friends too (since 2011), and this is a very rare label appearance (they normally self-release, often on obscure blogs or privately). Loliqueen here presents their signature style of lolicore in full-force; tons of trance synths, hard kicks, melodies abound, constant dance energy, and a minimalist approach to sampling. Someone recently asked me how could no-sample lolicore exist, and Loliqueen's work is a prime example of no-sample lolicore~!! Relapse is a great album for fans of Abra's more dance focused works, dark hard trance, and melodic lolicore (which was a lot more common in the days of Bloody Vomit Bukkake and "iluvOP) -- or if you've heard his split with goreshit and wanted more.
