Obstroperous Elation is the brand new 3rd-party compilation organized by Cat Destroyer and Painful Acidic Mezzanine~! Obstroperous Elation is the third installment of what is currently a trilogy of compilations, with the first two being Anomalist Frequencies and Vociferous Strains. Whilst the previous compilations heavily focused on noise and various forms of metal, the newest in the trilogy has completely shifted gears into a heavy focus on lolicore, hardcore, breakcore, and speedcore~! Obviously there is the occasional noise and grindcore blast, but this is largely a dance compilation, and its a lot of fun~! Lots of older styles appear throughout the album, and I really love it.

i love the varying instrumentals, moods, and energy in each of these tracks so much. the breakcore put forward is so beautiful with how ferocious it is. the ending track is, strangely, a wonderful cherry on top for this volume. the pianos are absolutely gorgeous and give you a much needed break from the hardcore that was pumped into your ears before, creating such a gentle and welcoming mood that it makes me feel a lil giddy. so glad to see these talented artists on board with Lost Frog Molly
